Past Chairman of the Board and CEO John Wiesner was born in Richmond, Texas and grew up in Hempstead. He married Beth Sorsby, also of Hempstead. They were graduates of Southern Methodist University. Mr. Wiesner started his automotive career in Hempstead in 1949, then moved to Baytown. In 1977, he purchased the Buick-Pontiac-GMC dealership in Conroe which is now the main headquarters for the Wiesner Automotive Group. Today the Wiesner Family carries on the tradition started by their father and grand-father by maintaining that great level of trust through community involvement, promoting quality brands and standing behind the motto Buy for Less at Wiesner.Reviews:* If you have serious work to do and want to burn less fuel doing it, this is your truck. While Ford and Dodge full-sizers are new and much improved for 2010, GMCâs recently redesigned Sierra remains fully competitive, is the only hybrid (with the exception of its twin at Chevrolet) and is by far the most fuel efficient on the road. Predictable poor fuel economy but absolutely great truck. I have had zero repairs. Fit 33" BF Goodrich KO2 tires on stock wheels without a lift, also added Bilstein shocks to make it a true Z71. I do run the tires @65psi when empty for some comfort. I just checked the trade in value and the truck has only depreciated 20% in 6 years, not bad at all.… - 5.0
Indomitable and Strapping Stud

When I bought the truck, I knew it was powerful and more than capable of pulling my 8900 lbs travel trailer. But, I wasn't expecting it to pull it over a nearly 9000 foot pass in Utah without even breaking a sweat. It has taken me from Texas to Colorado to Oregon and up the Alaska-Canadan highway with nary a complaint. I expect to be driving this mule for a very long time.… - 4.0
