* Introducing the Buick Encore, the luxury crossover with premium materials, ingenious design, flexible storage (up to 48.4 cu. ft.) and purposeful technology. It's like Buick knew exactly what you were missing in a crossover, and created the versatile Encore for you. It's sculpted, elegant, nimble, efficient and luxurious, all at the same time. Encore will turn heads with its chrome waterfall grille, chrome accents, portholes, and tri-shield emblem. Jewel-like translucent projector-beam headlamps contribute to the beautiful and elegant exterior. 18 inch chrome wheels optional and 18 inch aluminum wheels come standard. Your entertainment and navigation choices are simple, purposeful and empoweringâ€"the way personal luxury should be. The Buick IntelliLink system will leave you speechlessâ€"the instant you talk to it. It's a voice-activated, high-definition system that connects your smartphone, your Pandora and SiriusXM stations, and Stitcher SmartRadio, all through one 7-inch full-color screen. Now available is the OnStar 4G LTE connection which can turn the Encore into a WiFi hotspot. At the heart of Encore's power is a 1.4L ECOTEC 138hp turbocharged engine with variable valve timing. For even more peace of mind, the all-wheel drive option seamlessly shifts power to Encore's rear wheels when more is required for better traction and handling. Designing a luxury crossover with you in mind means that Buick started with safety, and Encore takes safety to a whole new level with 10 air bags standard and available features such as Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning and all-wheel drive. These technologies combined with great Buick standards like StabiliTrak and OnStar, give Encore a comprehensive safety story. Source: The Manufacturer Summary

  • absolutely love this car!

I fell in love when I first saw this car. Traded in a 2005 Jeep Liberty with only 68000 miles on it. The quiet and feel while driving is amazing! Am getting 25/32 MPG obviously better than the Jeep. Would have liked an auto trunk lid, hard to maneuver with pkgs in your arms but plenty of room for groceries etc. I am not tech savvy so I am still learning all the things available on this car. Was leary at first about 4cl turbo but it has plenty of pep on straight away as well as mountain roads. Am a senior citizen and getting in and out is a breeze. Price and value I feel is very good

I bought the Buick Encore Leather packaged car used and was a leased car and was in new low milage condition. Before I bought it, I read the Consumer Report on it and saw their review as under powered with better choices out there. I couldnt disagree more. The 4 cylender is only underpowered if youre used to gunning it at the stop lights. The 6 speed trans gives very smooth acceleration not bogging down at all and I get 33.2 mpg on the road driving the speed limit. The handling is exceptional and very quiet to drive. Every body seam every interior fit is perfect. My only single complaint is the dim headlights. I spent 25 and upgraded to 125w (each bulb), 6,000k, 1200 lumen LED headlights (5 minute DIY job) and now its a perfect SUV for my Wife & I.

I bought my Encore after comparing it to 14 other crossover vehicles out there and I know I made the right choice. The only complaint - under-powered...and I scoff at that as mine has a turbocharged 1.4L engine that is no slouch. It gets 35 mpg on the road and I average 29 mpg overall. It handles like a sports car and the fit & finish are impeccable. The exterior styling is the rival of all the other suvs and this one makes heads turn. There is a reason that GMC kept the Buick line and now I know why - This vehicle is true quality on 4 wheels. It is the best vehicle Ive ever owned and I believe Ill be driving it for many years. To anyone contemplating buying one of these Buicks, Id seriously recommend the AWD option - it is flawless.
